Our advent tradition this year has been a nightly lighting of the advent candles, the angel candles (that make the angels spin and bells ring) and a story from the Advent Storybook. It has been really sweet family time, and very gratifying to try to focus on the real meaning of Christmas. It's always amazing to see how readily children understand and even desire the deeper meaning of the season.
