As I've been adjusting to Evans new 3 day a week school schedule (!!), I've tried to be a 'good mom' and take him on fun, educational excursions on Tuesdays. Well, so far, we've only done one (if you don't count bowling:)). When Evans' class was doing a unit on butterflies, we went downtown to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History to take a stroll through the butterfly pavillion. Evans, Charlotte and me. And we really had a ball. 
This butterfly is feasting on half of a pineapple. We learned that butterflies have taste buds in their feet, so they are tasting everything they land on.
Including my head!
How does that taste, Mr. Butterfly? (do you think I'm thinning on top?!)
Who took the picture of the butterfly on your head? Is little man becoming a photographer?!
