Conversation with Charlotte

I had just finished getting Charlotte dressed and was sitting on the floor of her room.
She said, "You've been cleanin' up the house."
I said, "That's right. And I need to get back to work!"
She replied, "You don't go to work, only Daddy goes to work."
I said, "That's right. But what do I do?"
She said, "You clean up the kitchen." Right again.
She went on, "You don't leave us. You stayin' home. Daddy leaves us, but he always comes back to our house."
"That's right."
